This work expresses the memory of visiting museums and exhibitions with my father. My father, as an architect, introduced a lot of knowledge about art to me as a child. Some of the exhibitions and museums include 21_21 Design Sight in Japan, Sumida Hokusai Museum in Tokyo, Serpentine Gallery Pavilion London 2009 by Kazuyo Sejima, Chairs Party, and traditional art museums.
Not just about museum walks, some of the interior designs of the box are compelled with specific memories about my father as a figure. The silver box displayed could be in a variety of forms: an architecture, a showroom, an installation, a box filled with memory, a box that collects beloved objects or representation of emotion. This silver box could be opened anywhere; whether in mind, in the brain, in a space, or in nature. The box is also an interactive piece that could be transformed into another composition, which is a two-dimensional open space consist of small sculptures, installations, and pattern symbolizing the places my father and I visited.
